All of my pieces are handmade and therefore will vary in appearance. No two will look exactly the same. Due to the complexity of firing, colors will also vary. If you would like a specific face with a specific color, please contact me using the links provided and we can work together!

Note: The DnD bowls will vary in color for the same reasons listed above. They have the four different center symbols shown in the picture. If you would like one of the symbols specifically, notify us and we can try our best to send you one with it!

About the Artist - Morgan Laketa

I discovered ceramics my first year of high school and soon realized it to be my passion. I have received my degrees in Biology and Ecology, however, whilst I worked various jobs in animal care and conservation, I took classes in ceramics and other art forms such as welding, photography, and textiles. Currently, I am attending ECU for my master degree in Recreation Sciences with a focus in Conservation Psychology and spend much of my time at Emerge Art Gallery downtown where I have discovered an interest in creating face mugs.

Each pottery piece is uniquely “ugly” and there will not likely be another like it. I have enjoyed thinking up the many expressions they wear, inspired by both myself and others when we have to deal with life’s randomness.
